Yes. You can install up to three batteries with a single inverter. This gives you more stored energy and longer backup time if needed.

Can I charge the battery from the electric grid?

Yes. In many cases, we can set up your battery to charge from the grid when electricity rates are low. That energy can be used later when rates increase. This depends on your utility and system setup.

Do I need to use my battery every day?

Not always. If you’re on a time-of-use rate plan, using stored energy during peak hours can help you save money. But if your utility gives you full credit for solar energy you send to the grid, daily battery use may not add much value. In that case, it can make more sense to keep the battery charged and ready for outages. Everysun reviews your local utility and helps set up the best mode for your needs

Does Everysun install the battery?

Yes. Everysun installs and configures your complete solar energy system. That includes solar panels, the battery, the inverter, and any backup equipment you choose.

How long will the battery last?

The battery comes with a 10-year warranty. With proper use, many homeowners see reliable performance for 10 to 15 years or longer.

How much energy can it store?

Each home battery we install stores up to 9.7 kilowatt hours of usable energy. That’s enough to power essential items like lights, your refrigerator, internet, and other key devices for several hours.

Is the system safe for my home and family?

Yes. The SolarEdge Home Battery meets US safety standards and is certified for residential use. It has been tested for thermal and electrical safety and is approved for installation in most cities across the country.

What battery comes with my Everysun solar system?

When you go solar with Everysun, we include a premium home battery system from one of our trusted partners. Everysun takes care of the full installation and setup, so your energy is always ready when you need it.

What does the battery do for my home?

The battery stores the extra energy your solar panels produce during the day. You can then use that energy at night, when the sun isn't shining, or when utility prices are higher. It also helps during power outages if you choose a backup option.

What safety measures do you use during installation?

Our crews work with special scaffolding and protective netting to prevent falls and protect your property. These safety systems are modeled after standards used in Sweden, where rooftop work is highly regulated. We apply the same care to every home we work on here in California.

Why does Everysun refuse to install on damaged roofs?

Installing solar on a weak or damaged roof can lead to future problems for you. We will not risk your home or our name. We believe in doing the job right or not doing it at all. That is our standard.
